I didn't...

hold up my end of the bargain...it's been a lot longer than 2 months since the last update. Wowza!

I think I've been quite stressed and busy compared to Tyler.
He went to Cuba for 2 weeks in October. He travelled with his parents and they were joined by his cousin and his gf for the first week.
When he came home he looked like a golden brown cookie...LOL!

My life has been consumed by my french class. I loathe it and can't wait for it to be over next Thursday. I really don't like the teacher and therefore, I'm having a hard time understanding some of the material. He is SO disorganized and there's absolutely no structure. Grrrrrrrr....[vent over].

Had a surprise visit from my mom and sister on the 13th...we had a great weekend...even though it felt SO short.

We just came back from a weekend in Innisfil. We had a great visit and I had a break away from my french...even though I shouldn't have.

Lots of plans for the month of December...but I'll get into those at another time...

I can't believe how long it has been since the last post! I do apologize!

We've had quite a busy summer, if you can actually call it that. I think "summer" really occurred over the past two weeks and that's about it! hahaha

Tyler celebrated his 30th birthday last week. We were so happy to see so many friends and family at his birthday dinner and afterwards at our place for bevy's and dessert! A BIG thanks to Nat and James for providing the cake. It was AMAZING as per usual. Kudos to James on his master baking skills!

We had quite a busy Labour Day weekend. Tyler went to La Ronde with our friend Kelly on the Saturday and had a blast. We did a lot of house stuff, which included staining our deck. It's about 90% finished. I hope we have at least one or two nice, hot and sunny days left in September to finish it off and touch up some spots.

Other than that, we're looking forward to having some family visits over the next month or so. Thanksgiving should be really fun this year with Taral, Mitch, Chloe and Mikaila coming for a visit. Jaxxon will not have a moment's peace with Chloe chasing him around all weekend. I can't wait!

I promise I won't wait another 2ish months to post again!

It's time...

to head up north again. It's our niece's 3rd bday on Sunday, so they're having a little party for her. I think she'll be really excited to see Jaxxon. He's much smaller than her 2 dogs and he loves to play with her.

On another note...we tried the Wii Fit last night. So far, it's FUN! Let's see how fun it will stay if we play it everyday! LOL

to PAINT this weekend! Thank goodness Aunt Bev is willing to come over to help us paint! She'll get a good dinner out of it. =P

The only other "exciting" event is that I'm getting my hair cut and highlighted tomorrow, at the Jask Spa in Kanata Centrum. There are quite a few WB's who have recommended it...so we'll see how that goes...no one does my hair better than Taral, but she's not available. =P hehehe

Did I mention that it's almost friday....thank gawd! lol

Busy...busy...busy!

Again! This weekend was CRAZY busy...we were on the "go" non-stop! We attended 3 BBQ's, including the one we hosted. We had SO much fun, but can we say T-I-R-E-D this morning!?! lol

Busy week ahead, as per usual. I'm busy with french class and we have softball tomorrow night. Tyler's been studying for a competition he's writing this afternoon and he's been busy with yard work. Jaxxon continues to be a little social butterfly...I wonder who he gets that from?!? lol

We're looking forward to starting some painting this weekend...anyone available?? hahaha

We played...

our first softball game of the season last night! We lost but it was SO much fun! I have my first "wound"...a bruise on the inside of my knee where the ball clipped me as it went through my legs! lol

It's gonna be a fun season...but holy GAWD are the mosquitos big!!!
